Anodising Pre-Treatments Alocrom 1200 and Surtec 650 are a good corrosion resistant pre-treatment for paint also giving good electrical conductivity. Chemical Brightening We have over 100 years experience in the operation of a Nitric acid based chemical brightening process. It is normally used a pre-treatment (Anodising) to achieve a bright reflective finish which is often used in the lighting industry. Etching The process applies to a strong chemical etchant solution to remove unwanted surface scratches to the aluminium material leaving a matt finish. Semi Bright Formulated to give a semi bright finish to aluminium, which is brighter in appearance to just etching. Not all Aluminium material is suited to chemical brightening but our team are here to help give advice is needed.
